The last of the major New Year’s Eve festivals to announce their artist lineup is by no means the least with The Woodford Folk Festival last night releasing an awesome program of folk, world, roots and indie music. The folk festival, easily among the most popular in the country, is held near Woodford, Queensland from the 27th December to the 1st January. The lineup contains a bunch of musicians either featured or supported by Timber and Steel including Basement Birds, Blue King Brown, Katie Noonan & The Captains, Kim Churchill, Lior, Mal Webb, Mama Kin, Martin Pearson, Sally Seltmann, Ted Egan, That 1 Guy, The Cat Empire, The Crooked Fiddle Band, The Little Stevies, The Wilson Pickers (above), TinPan Orange and Totally Gourdgeous. The Woodford Folk Festival will also feature a number of artists, speakers, comedians and presentations making it one of the most dynamic events of its type.
