Listen to the New Trampled By Turtles Single “Wild Animals”

The latest single from newgrass five-piece Trampled By Turtles is “Wild Animals”, which debuted online last week. The single is taken from Trampled By Turtles’ upcoming album of the the same name, Wild Animals.

“We all tried to come into this thing extremely open-minded,” guitarist and vocalist Dave Simonett told Paste Magazine. “How can we sound new to ourselves? I feel like the sound has changed and is changing, especially from [2010 album] Palomino to now. A lot of our reputation from even just a couple years ago was that we were this fast band, which we can do, and we do that. But this record focused a little bit more on other aspects of our playing together.”

Wild Animals is due for release on the 15th July. Listen to “Wild Animals” below:
