John Martyn Tribute Album Gets Final Tracklisting, Release Date

The all-star tribute album to the late John Martyn that was announced in July last year has finally been given a release date and track listing. Artists as diverse as David Gray, Beck, The Swell Season, Vetiver, Snow Patrol and Bombay Bicycle Club will all make an appearance on the album titled Johnny Boy Would Love This – A Tribute To John Martyn.

The album will be released as a double CD set on 15th August. The full track listing is below:

Disc 1:

There are some obvious artists missing from the album that were in the original announcement including Devendra Banhart and The Blind Boys Of Alabama but it remains to be seen whether their contributions turn up somewhere else.
