The Weather Station Announces Self Titled Album

Canadian singer-songwriter The Weather Station, AKA Tamara Lindeman, has announce plans to release her forth studio album on the 6th October.

The self-titled album sees The Weather Station channelling a new, more energetic sound.

“I wanted to make a rock and roll record,” Lindeman explained, “but one that sounded how I wanted it to sound, which of course is nothing like rock and roll.”

The first single from The Weather Station is the wonderful “Thirty”. Check out official video below:

Over the last few weeks we’ve featured various songs in the “Gypsy Davey” tradition. Here’s a relatively modern take featuring The White Stripes covering Bob Dylan’s version of “Black Jack Davey”. This is an acoustic version but there’s an electric version out there in the universe as well.

Canadian singer-songwriter Tamara Lindeman, AKA The Weather Station, has followed up her recent visit to Australia with the brand new video for the track “Floodplain”. The video was show while The Weather Station was in Australia and is taken from her album Loyalty.

The highly anticipated program for the 2016 Sydney Festival dropped today and as always it’s full to the brim of folky goodness.
