Last year Sydney small bar and music venue The Gasoline Pony held their first ever Get Folked Mini Folk Festival. The sold out festival saw the venue filled to brim with folky goodness with music across the folk music dispersed across two stages. There was even Morris Dancing I’m told – although that was usually on when I was heading to the bar for another drink.

This year The Gasoline Pony is doing it all again with the announcment of the Get Folked Mini Folk Festival on Saturday 17th June. The headliners for 2017 will be Timber and Steel favourites The Button Collective (above) who will be joined on the lineup by Toot, Queen Porter Stomp, The Low Down Riders, The Villebillies, Acca-Pony, Craig Edmondson and more to be announced soon. The whole event will kick off with a poets breakfast (which is how you know this is a real folk festival).

Morning and evening tickets for the Get Folked Mini Folk Festival are on sale now and we recommend you snap them up quick. There’s more announcements for the event coming soon so stay tuned!
