Bluesfest Adds More Roots Artists to 2018 Lineup

The latest artist announcement from Bluesfest is full of heaps of rootsy goodness including a bunch of Timber and Steel favourites

Joining the Bluesfest lineup this time will be Dan Sultan, All Our Exes Live In Texas (above), Chain, Con Brio, Mia Dyson, Shaun Kirk, Caiti Baker, Steve Smyth, Dog Trumpet and Hanlon Brothers.

Bluesfest is held just outside of Byron Bay from the 29th March to 2nd April. For more information including how to get your hands on tickets check out the official site here.

Folk and Roots Artists on the 2014 Wollombi Music Festival Lineup

The fifth annual Wollombi Music Festival will be rolling around again this September and there’s plenty of folk and roots artists on the lineup to get excited about. Held just outside the town of Wollombi, NSW (which itself is west of Newcastle), the festival is fast gaining a reputation as one of the country’s best “boutique” events.

The lineup this year includes a bunch of Timber and Steel friendly artists including Claude Hay & The Gentle Enemies, The Morrisons, Shaun Kirk, Eddie Boyd & The Phatapillars, Benny Walker Band, Big Erle and a whole bunch more.

The Wollombi Music Festival takes place on Saturday 27th September and is more than just the music with markets, food, workshops and a kidsfest all being part of the experience. For ore information including the full lineup and how to get your hands on tickets check out the official site here.

Port Fairy Adds Final Artists

The 2013 Port Fairy Folk Festival is under 5 weeks away and the organisers are busy putting the finishing touches on a massive lineup that already includes Arlo Guthrie, Eric Bogle, Glen Hansard, Gurrumul, Kim Churchill, Lisa Hannigan, The Little Stevies, Xavier Rudd, Mustered Courage, The Stillsons and more. The artists added to that already star studded lineup over the weekend include Tim Finn, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Jackson McLaren & The Triple Threat (above), Siskin River, Shaun Kirk and Alanna & Alicia Egan.
