Sarah Blasko, Holly Throsby and Sally Seltmann, otherwise known as all female supergroup Seeker Lover Keeper, released a bunch of details surrounding their collaboration over the weekend and we’re more than a little excited here at Timber and Steel. Seriously, can you think of a better way to start your Monday morning that with beautiful music from some of Australia’s most gifted singer-songwriters?
First of all, we have a release date for the Seeker Lover Keeper album for the 3rd of June. That’s just over two weeks away.
Secondly, the ladies have released not one, not two, but three videos for their first singles “Even Though I’m A Woman”, “On My Own” and “Light All My Lights”. All three videos were directed by Natalie van den Dungen (who has worked on some of our favourite clips from the likes of Darren Hanlon and Wagons) and feature performances from Australian acting greats Aden Young, John Waters and Barry Otto. The other cool thing about the songs is that the lead singer in each is not the original author lending an extra element to the collaboration. You can watch the three clips below:
UPDATE: The original videos we embedded have been disabled. To watch them head over to the official Seeker Lover Keeper website.
