Details of the 2016 Sunshine Fiddle Camp

This January the next Sunshine Fiddle Camp is set to take place at Alexandra Headlands on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The camp provides an opportunity for fiddle players of all ages and experience to come together for a series of workshops with some of the best players in the world.

This time around the international tutors will be Brittany Haas (above) and Tristan Clarridge, both formerly of US chamber folk band Crooked Still. Local tutors include Jack Wilson, Jeri Foreman and more.

The Sunshine Fiddle Camp takes place from the 10th to the 15th January. For more information check out the official web site here.

The folks behind the Nexus Multicultural Arts Centre in Adelaide have just announced the program for their new season of live World Music kicking off at the end of September. Featuring music from the likes of The
