Browngrass

This month’s Bluegrass @ Yulli’s in Sydney’s Surry Hills is going to be something special as it falls smack bang in the middle of Sydney Craft Beer Week.

Throughout Sydney Craft Beer Week Yulli’s will be featuring an exclusive list of beers spiced with native flavours, and on Wednesday 22nd October those fine brews will be augmented with bluegrass music, Australian style. Get yourself ready for “browngrass”.

As always the night will kick off with an all-welcome bluegrass jam session from 6pm, so make sure you bring your fiddle, mando or banjo to join in the music. Then at 8pm it’s time to kick back with a brew and watch two feature band sets, one from duo Golden Whistler made up of Richard Galluzzi (clawhammer banjo, vocals) and Kate Barker ( vocals, guitar), and a second set from a bluegrass super-group made up of Dave Hellens, Miriam Jones, and Golden Whistler’s Richard Galluzzi.

Bluegrass @ Yulli’s will take place on Wednesday 22nd October. For more information check out the official Facebook event here.
