Dashville to Showcase at Australian Music Week

This year’s Australian Music Week, held in Cronulla south of Sydney from the 1st to the 3rd of November, is already bursting at the seems with conferences, showcases and more music than you can poke a stick at.

So we’re pretty excited that the good folks from Dashville, the brains behind Hunter Valley music festivals like The Gum Ball and Dashville Skyline, are wading right into the middle of Australian Music Week with a huge showcase at iconic venue The Brass Monkey on Thursday 2nd November.

The Dashville showcase will feature a bunch of their favourite artists including William Crighton (above), Terra Lightfoot, Melody Pool, Magpie Diaries and Dave Wells.

Dashville Skyline Announces Additional Artists for Sunday Wind Down

If you thought the Dashville Skyline lineup was already huge then you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. The folks behind the Hunter Valley based “cosmic country” festival have just announced plans to finish up the event for the Sunday Wind Down party, complete with a bunch of new artists.

Headlining the Sunday Wind Down will be Ben Ely (Regurgitator) who will be performing songs from his brand new solo record Strange Tales of Drugs & Lost Love.

Joining Ely exclusively on Sunday will be The Safety Of Life At Sea, Burger Joint, Dave Wells, James Thomson, Ahlia Rain and Georgie Jones.

Held in the bushland of the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Dashville Skyline takes place from the 29th September to the 1st October. Tickets for Dashville Skyline are on sale now – check out the official web site for more details including the recently announced set times.

Dashville HQ Announces Dashville On The Road Tour

Dasville HQ, the Hunter Valley folks behind fan favourite festivals The Gum Ball, Dashville Skyline, PigSty in July and Thrashville, have announced their hitting the road with the announcement of their first ever Dashville On The Road Tour.

The concept has been boiling away for a while now but from the beginning of July it becomes a realisty with some of Dashville’s closest musical buddies showcasing in Branxton, Cronulla and Redfern.

The lineup for these shows includes James Thomson, BagheadMelody PoolMagpie Diaries, Dave Wells, Deanna Rose, Demi Mitchell, Jason Walker and Lyle Dennis plus other surprise guests.
