Fairbridge Folk Festival Announces Second Round of Artists for 2018

WA based music festival the Fairbridge Folk Festival have just revealed the second round of artists for their 2018 event.

Joining the likes of The Lost Brothers, Perch Creek and Mama Kin Spender from their first announcement will be The Collingwood Casanovas (above), Will Pound and Eddy Jay, Dan Parsons, Catherine Fraser Trio, King Arthur, David Milroy, Via Pangée, Richard Walley, Martin & Coole with Crystal Jade and Praashekh Quartet.

The festival has also announced a children’s program including Woody’s World Family Band, Eco Faeries and The Weird Ticket

And finally there’s an extensive dance program as part of the announcement that includes African Oz Drum n Dance, Zakoeira and Dances of Universal Peace.

Based in the town of Pinjarra in WA, the Fairbridge Folk Festival is held from the 20th to the 22nd of April. For more information, including how to get your hands on tickets check out the official site here.

The National Folk Festival Adds More Artists

The National Folk Festival have just added a bunch more artists to its already exciting lineup for 2017.

Heading up the announcement this time around include international artists like Jarlath Henderson (Northern Ireland), Katey Brooks (England), Mel Parsons (above, NZ) and Melisande (Canada).

Joining them from around Australia will be Andy Salvanos, Catherine Fraser Trio, David Spry, Colin Lillie, YuNiOn with Stonewave Taiko, Dubmarine, Kutcha Edwards, Zulya and the Children of the Underground, Sparrow-Folk, The Martins and 19-Twenty.
