The second round of artists for this year’s Australasian Worldwide Music Expo (AWME) have just been announced and the festival is shaping up to be one not to miss.

Joining the likes of Henry Wagons, HOWQUA, Jess Ribeiro, Ruby Boots, Skipping Girl Vinegar and The Audreys will be Kutcha Edwards, Three Kings and Raised By Eagles (above), just to name a few.

AWME takes place in Melbourne from the 12th to 14th November. For more information check out the official site here.

We’ve been following Fanny’s career since she reached out to Timber and Steel 4 years ago to present her first single launch in Sydney. We’re so proud of everything Fanny Lumsden and the boys have achieved over the years and are looking forward to celebrating her success for years to come.

Somehow two rounds of artists have been announced for this year’s Australasian Worldwide Music Expo (AWME) in Melbourne before we’ve had a chance to post anything. The event is considered one of the top world music events in Australia and its lineup is always one to keep an eye on.

So for the AWME has announced some very very exciting acts for 2016 including Timber and Steel favourites like Henry Wagons, HOWQUA, Jess Ribeiro, Ruby Boots, Skipping Girl Vinegar (above), The Audreys and many more.

Australasian Worldwide Music Expo Announces Second Round of Artists for 2014

The second round of artists have just been added to the Australasian Worldwide Music Expo (AWME) and they’re just as exciting as the first round.

Joining the likes of Ash Grunwald and Nahko and Medicine for the People will be Frank Yamma, Leah Flanagan, Timberwolf, Marlon Williams and many more.

The AWME takes place across four days in Melbourne from the 13th to 16th November. The full second announcement is below:

I love it when fiddle tunes have words. I’d always played “Rattlin’ Bog” as a reel but found in sessions that people would sing along. So I’ve done my best to learn the words as well – although I doubt I could get it this fast!

The Australasian Worldwide Music Expo (AWME) last week announced the first round of artists for 2014. The AWME will showcase the finest in Australian and international roots music across four days in Melbourne from the 13th to 16th November.

Local artists announced so far include Hiatus Kaiyote, Ash Grunwald, Bart Willoughby, Jimblah, Pierce Brothers (above), Ms Murphy and Bullhorn with the international contingent made up of Nahko and Medicine for the People (USA), Digging Roots (Canada), Estere (NZ) and Myele Manzanza (NZ).
