First Six Acts Announced for the 2018 National Folk Festival

The 2018 festival announcement season is in full swing and one of our favourite events on the folk calendar, the National Folk Festival, is the latest to reveal its artists.

The National Folk Festival is teasing us with the first six artists for 2018.

From England Faustus and Belshazzar’s Feast will be heading to Australia to perform exclusively for the National Folk Festival. Joining them them will be fellow UK singer-songwriter Katey Brooks along with Australian heavyweights Mick Thomas and The Roving Commission (VIC), 19-Twenty (NSW) and Frumious (TAS).

The National Folk Festival takes place in Canberra over the Easter long weekend, 29th March to the 2nd April. For more information, including how to pick up early bird tickets, check out the official web site here.
