This month’s Bluegrass @ Yulli’s in Sydney is a very special show indeed as its their annual birthday UNHCR Fundraiser. Rather than the usual format which sees a feature artist or two take to the stage, the fundraiser will feature a bunch of Sydney’s top folk and bluegrass acts banging out a couple of tunes each all with the theme “Bluegrassified”.
Announced so far for the night are Shelley’s Murder Boys (above), Whoa Mule, The Plough, Mark, Ant & Gordon and The Willing Ponies. The bands will be playing bluegrass versions of songs from other genres such as Rock, Pop, Country and more.
Bluegrass @ Yulli’s takes place this Wednesday 16th November is free – but there will be the chance to donate to UNHCR throughout the show. As always Bluegrass @ Yulli’s kicks off with an all-invited jam session at 6pm – so bring down your fiddle, mando, guitar and more and join in the fun.
