The Tiger and Me vocalist and guitarist Ade Vincent has chosen something very special for his debut solo album. Rather then taking the usual singer-songwriter route Vincent has chosen instead to build an art-folk song-cycle setting of Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “The Raven”.
The album, also called The Raven, is all minimalist instrumentation and crisp vocals, and is the kind of music you are just drawn into.
The first single from The Raven is track 2, “My Chamber Door”, which features a beautifully animated video by Luca Valente that Ade Vincent has kindly asked Timber and Steel to premiere. Check it out below:
