When I was living in Alice Springs over a decade ago I used to head down to a small Irish pub on a Friday night to catch rootsy singer-songwriter Turin Robinson. His unique voice and arresting stage presence meant Robinson cultivated a loyal following in Central Australia, and I’ve often wondered whether he continued his music after leaving town.
Well it would appear he has as I recently stumbled across this video of Turin Robinson performing “The Spider Song” live in Walyunga National Park. Robinson is now based out of Perth and also performs under the moniker Mossy Fogg. Check out “The Spider Song” below:
