Katie Noonan Announces New Album and Tour

The wonderful, genre transcending Katie Noonan has announced plans to release her new, crowdfunded album Transmutant on the 24th July. The album features the singer’s new band Katie Noonan’s Vanguard and has been described as “ethereal”, featuring lots of electronic sounds and keyboards.

“The Captains had electronics in that there were samples and stuff, but this explores that world a little more,” Noonan explained. “I bought this very cool vintage drum machine and we played around with a lot of vintage keyboards and synths – it’s been about opening up the sound a little more.”

Katie Noonan will be previewing the album at a couple of gigs this month before heading out on a much larger tour later this year. Check out the full list of dates below:
