This week Sydney singer-songwriter Arbori released his brand new, stripped back album Home and Homeless. Steve Barnard, the man behind Arbori, had the following to say about the release on Facebook:
“I’d begun to think I’d never say this but ‘today I released an album’. It’s called Home and Homeless and its a collection of songs I wrote about my experiences living in my share house (Fitzroy Palace) and my experiences sharing meals and conversations with the homeless. I recorded it a few weeks ago and I was sick and almost every song (except the ones where I started violently coughing mid take) is a one take. I didn’t want to get super attached to this release, I just wanted to think as little as possible and judge myself as little as possible ESP after the EP (which will be released in the next fortnight). It’s free to download do please do have a listen and I hope that the songs bless u even half as much as all the people they are about have blessed me.”
