Sam Buckingham Announces Patreon Campaign and National Tour

This morning Sam Buckingham announced a very exciting new chapter in her musical life. Utilising the US based platform crowd sourcing Patreon, Buckingham will be delivering newly recorded songs direct to her fans in exchange for a pledge of patronage. The songs will be written as Sam Buckingham travels the world looking for new musical and artistic inspirations.

Founded just last year by Electronica and You Tube maestro Jack Conte, Patreon gives fans the opportunity to directly support creators in their artistic endevours – in Sam Buckingham’s case, traveling the world and writing music. We’ll let Sam explain it better in her new video:

But before she kicks off this adventure Sam Buckingham has announced plans to head around Australia one more time in a tour to support her new single “Shackles”. On the tour Buckingham will be supported by Benjamin James Caldwell and a bunch of other special guests. The full list of dates and the video for “Shackles” are below:
