This morning Laura Marling, via Facebook (or let’s face it – Laura Marling’s team as she doesn’t really “do” social media), posted the trailer for When Brave Bird Saved, a short film by Fred and Nick. The film is set to feature music from Marling’s upcoming album Once I Was An Eagle with the title apparently lifted from the titles of four album tracks, “When Were You Happy? (And How Long Has That Been)”, “Love Be Brave”, “Little Bird” and “Saved These Words”.

When Brave Bird Saved is debuting online on the 25th April (most likely the 26th in Australia). Check out the trailer featuring a haunting cello, contemporary dance and shots of Marling herself below:

Once I Was An Eagle is due for release on the 27th May.
