It’s been a few months since we heard from folk-pop chanteuse Lisa Mitchell but it appears that’s because she’s been busy preparing the follow up album to 2009’s Wonder. And now Lisa Mitchell is ready to unleash that new album with the announcement of Bless This Mess late last week.

Bless This Mess is due to be released on the 12th October and will feature the title track as the first official single along with “Spiritus” which hit the airwaves earlier this year. To celebrate the album’s release Lisa Mitchell is planning a national tour throughout October and into November with Alpine and Danco in support. Tickets for the tour go on sale on the 13th September and the full list of dates are below:

Thursday 18th October – Bar on the Hill, Newcastle, NSW
Friday 19th October – The Metro, Sydney, NSW
Saturday 20th October – Wollongong Uni Bar, Wollongong, NSW
Friday 26th October – The Astor, Perth, WA
