Laura Marling

If you haven’t stumbled across NPR Music’s wonderful Tiny Desk Concert series then you need to start stumbling now. It’s a wonderful way to get lost in hours and hours of live, intimate music performed in the NPR offices with dozens of Timber and Steel’s favourites gracing the Tiny Desk “stage”.

Laura Marling dropped into the NPR offices recently to record a Tiny Desk Concert playing live versions of “Don’t Ask Me Why” and “Sophia” from her latest album A Creature I Don’t Know as well as the previously unrecorded or released “Once”.

Will “Once” appear on the new album Marling has revealed she’s recording? Only time will tell on that account. In the meantime you can enjoy this wonderful performance below – then make sure you head over to NPR Music to trawl through the rest of the Tiny Desk Concerts.
