The Redlands Bluegrass Convention, held at the the Kindilan Convention Centre near Redland Bay in Queensland between the 13th and 15th July, has just announced its first round of artists and it’s already looking pretty sweet. So far they’ve confirmed The Hamilton County Bluegrass Band, The Davidson Brothers, Mustered Courage (above) and Bluegrass Parkway with The Australian Bluegrass Blog adding Kristy Cox to that list (although this hasn’t been confirmed on the official Redlands web site). And this is just the beginning with more artists yet to be announced
The Convention boasts more than just showcase performers with instrument and vocal workshops, jam sessions, blackboard concert, food, drink and much much more throughout the weekend. For more information on The Redlands Bluegrass Convention and how to get tickets visit the official web site.
