Asa’s “Why Can’t We” Video

One of the highlights of this year’s WOMADelaide festival was French-Nigerian pocket rocket Asa. Her genre-defying music is fun, thought provoking and insanely danceable and her stage presence … well you should really just read our review right here.

The latest single from Asa’s highly acclaimed album Beautiful Imperfection is probably one of my favourite tracks of hers live, the wonderfully energetic “Why Can’t We”. The video for the track is full of sixties inspired bubble-gum goodness and was directed by Raphael Frydman. Watch it in its full pastel glory below:
