I’m pretty sure no one saw The Lumineers getting as big as they have in Australia. Sure, they were always going to be popular enough to be included as a solid addition on the Bluesfest Lineup and someone somewhere decided they could probably get a decent return putting on side shows in decent sized venues like The Metro in Sydney and The Corner in Melbourne, but they could never have predicted the sheer demand that this Americana three piece has since created.
So the decision has been made to change the Sydney venue (and date) from the sold out Metro to the larger capacity Enmore Theatre. The date has changed as well from the 27th to the 28th March. Tickets to the Metro show will still be valid but now there’s even more tickets available – but you need to be quick! And in further news the support slot has been filled by none other than Timber and Steel favourites The Falls which is absolutely awesome news.
The updated Lumineers tour dates with The Falls are below:
Wednesday 27th March – Metro Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Thursday 28th March – Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Friday 29th March – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne, VIC – SOLD OUT
Saturday 30th March – The Hi-Fi, Brisbane, QLD
