After a triumphant return to the Folk Club stage last week The Falls are once again back at their regular Wednesday night gig this week and they’re brining some pretty special friends with them. Brisbane singer-songwriter Andrew Morris, probably best known to Timber and Steel readers for his work with Bernard Fanning and The Wilson Pickers, has chosen Folk Club as the launching pad for his East Coast tour in support of his sixth album The Situationist. Check out his brand new video “Shadows”:
Opening Folk Club this week will be Andrew Morris’ tour buddy, singer-songwriter Zac Gunthorpe. As always the night kicks off around 8pm at The Oxford Art Factory and is free (with tips for the artists highly encouraged).
