It’s a match made in folk heaven. Last week Country Music Television in the US broadcast an episode of its CMT Crossroads series, which teams country music artists with artists from other genres, featuring two of this blog’s biggest inspirations – Mumford and Sons and Emmylou Harris.
Performing a selection of songs by both artists the show also featured Jerry Douglas on dobro (which of course means there’s a version of “The Boxer” in the episode). Check out the trailer here:
We’ve tracked down a stream of the entire show here (although you may need an American IP to watch it) – we highly recommend any fans of American folk and country music take half an hour out of their day to check this out.
