James Fagan (The Fagans, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan) and Jamie McClennan (Emily Smith) have joined forces to become The James Brothers and to celebrate they are giving their debut EP away for free.
Fagan, from Australia, and McClennan, from New Zealand, both now live and work in the UK and have combined their rather substantial musical clout to create a uniquely Antipodean form of folk music drawing on folk, blues, bluegrass, trad and more. Their free EP, simply called 4 Track EP, is available as a download on The James Brothers’ official site here.
This is really interesting stuff – we’re really excited to see where this project goes.
