The String Contingent Announce Spring Tour

Virtuosic instrumental folk trio The String Contingent are hatching plans of recording a brand new album this November but before they do they’ve announced a Spring tour of Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. Made up of Australians Chris Stone (violin) and Holly Downes (double bass) along with Scotsman Graham McLeod (guitar), The String Contingent are firm favourites at festivals around the country and this tour is a great chance to see them before they bunker down in the studio come Novemeber.

Sunday 23rd September – Stoves for Africa, Torquay Uniting Church, Torquay, VIC
Friday 28th September to Monday 1st October 1 – Rose’s Gap Music Camp, Rose’s Gap, VIC & Sunshine Fiddle Camp, Alexandra Headland, QLD
Friday 5th October – Concert for Wesley Warragul, Warragul, VIC
Saturday 6th October – Escape Art Festival, Milton, NSW
Sunday 7th October – Concert in the Cave, Wee Jasper, NSW
Saturday 13th October – Wauchope Arts Council, Wauchope, NSW
Sunday 21st October – Old Court House, Gunning, NSW
Thursday 25th October – Smithurst Theatre, Gunnedah, NSW
Friday 26th October – Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Dorrigo, NSW
Saturday 27th October – Restrung Chamber Festival, Brisbane, QLD
Sunday 28th October – Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Dorrigo, NSW
