Alice Springs based Scottish ex-pat Colin Lillie released his gorgeous self titled EP earlier this year and it’s been a recording we’ve been going back to ever since thanks to its emotionally charged songwriting and wonderful production. Performing regularly around the Territory and regional Australia Lillie recently took time out of his busy schedule to record the EP’s first video for the track “Man’s Broken Heart”.
In our review of Colin Lillie’s EP we described this track as “[revealing] Lillie as a man tortured by the loss of a great love”. The video, directed by Shayne Cantly of Evolution Studios, captures a fragment of this sadness and sits perfectly with the song. Check it out below:
