From the handful of tracks we’ve already heard from the new Calexico album Algiers (released today) we can tell you that it’s something special. And it seems the folk-music press agrees with all sorts of praise flowing in from all corners for the nu-folker’s latest outing.
The first official video from Algiers is “Splitter” and features middle-American imagery that’s going to be very familiar for fans of folk and country. And aliens. It also features aliens.
