To help launch the new Mumford and Sons album Babel in Australia a pop up bar called The Mumford & Sons General Store & Saloon is set to open up somewhere in Sydney. Details are vague at the moment but we do know a couple of things.
By day The Mumford & Sons General Store & Saloon will be broadcasting Babel ahead of its release on the 21st September and serving Grinders coffee.
By night that coffee turns to ARDBEG whisky and The Mumford & Sons General Store & Saloon will showcase live music “from the band’s favourite locals” and screenings of their DVD Big Easy Express.
The Mumford & Sons General Store & Saloon will be open to the public daily at 10am from Friday 14th September until Friday 28th September. Details on the location and the lineup of acts set to play in the evenings haven’t been released yet but you can be sure as soon as they are you’ll be the first to know.
