And so the small-batch artist announcements continue for this year’s Falls Festival. Following on from last week’s lineup reveal that included Boy & Bear the latest lineup includes the wonderful First Aid Kit as the token folk group.
Having already visited Australia this year for WOMADelaide, First Aid Kit’s performance at Falls will cap off a massive 12 months for the Swedish sisters. Joining them in the latest lineup additions are Bombay Bicycle Club (who get plenty of love on the UK folk blogs), Hilltop Hoods, Hot Chip, Maximo Park, Millions & Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
The Falls Festival takes place each New Year at Marion Bay in Tasmania and Lorne in Victoria. The ballot for tickets is open until Thursday 2nd August – more details on the official site.
