If you’re planning on coming down to Sydney’s Folk Club this Wednesday then you’ll be in for an absolute treat. Timber and Steel’s favourite folk-abilly songstress Fanny Lumsden, together with her amazing band, will be heading up what is sure to be an amazing night. We’re just wondering whether there’ll be any room for dancing – Folk Club is always so packed these days and Lumsden’s music always makes us want to get our hoedown on.
Joining Fanny Lumsden on Wednesday night will be The Falls and Carla Lippis (The Martial Hearts). As usual the night will be filmed by the good folks at Artheory and will feature Emma Swift (from FBi Radio’s In The Pines) on hosting and interviewing duties.
Folk Club kicks off around 7:30PM at the Oxford Art Factory’s Gallery Bar in Sydney and is completely free (tips for the artists are welcome). For more information check out the official Facebook event here.
