June Tabor Sweeps BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards

If you’ve read any of the mainstream folk press over the last year you’ll no doubt be very familiar with the praise that June Tabor’s been receiving for her latest collaboration with Oysterband. So it probably comes as no surprise that Tabor has swept this year’s BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, the most prestigious awards of their kind in the UK, taking out four categories including Folk Singer of the Year, Best Group, Best Album and Best Traditional Track.
