Can you believe The Wiggles have been entertaining kids for 20 years now? That’s at least two generations of children that the skivvy-wearing foursome have been entertaining spawning a media empire that has taken the world by storm. To mark the anniversary ABC Music is bringing together some of the biggest names in Australian music for a tribute album titled Rewiggled – A Tribute To The Wiggles.

While this isn’t normally the kind of thing we’d write about some of artist/song pairings on the album have piqued our interest – how about The Audreys singing “Cowboys And Cowgirls”? Or The Snowdroppers taking on “Wags The Dog”? Add to that the likes of Clare Bowditch (“Georgia’s Song”), Sarah Blasko (“I Love It When It Rains”), Busby Marou (“Dressing Up”) and Dead Letter Chorus (“Wiggle Bay”) and you’ve got yourself a really interesting project.
